The Marketing Executive leads and oversees the marketing team’s operations, including planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns and strategies to promote the company’s products, services, and overall brand. This role involves close collaboration with other departments, managing the marketing budget, analysing market trends, and measuring the effectiveness of marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive creativity and innovation within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies and marketing plans to create awareness of the company’s business activities and drive sales.
  • Supervising the marketing team, providing guidance and feedback to team members and ensuring that all marketing activities align with the company’s objectives.
  • Analysing market trends and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Managing and allocating the marketing budget efficiently, ensuring optimal use of resources for maximum impact.
  • Overseeing the production of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns, ensuring content accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Planning and executing digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing communications and campaigns, making data-driven decisions to improve performance.
  • Coordinating with sales and operations to ensure brand consistency and increase sales.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and related metrics.
  • Leading and motivating the marketing team to achieve their goals, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Updating the company’s social media profiles and online presence.
  • Updating spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information.
  • Assisting in the organisation of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attending these events to facilitate their success.
  • Preparing and delivering promotional presentations.
  • Creating, posting and scheduling online content on the company’s website and social media accounts.
  • Writing up marketing communications content (brochures, press releases, post captions) to increase the company’s presence in the market.
  • Communicating directly with suppliers.
  • Writing blogs and posts for the company’s website and social media accounts.
  • Filming, editing and finalising videos and video snippets and other relevant content for the company’s TikTok, YouTube and other social media and web channels .

Requirements

  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Strong team management skills and ability to motivate a team.
  • A positive and can-do attitude.
  • Knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, illustrator & InDesign will be considered an asset.
  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles.
  • A marketing or digital marketing qualification will be considered an asset.
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases.
  • Excellent knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing including MS Office, marketing software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords ….).
  • Exquisite communication and people skills.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Be creative with a flair for the innovative.
  • Problem solver.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and also independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
